KJM receives triple recognition for customer service

The Mylen Road window and door installation business is a finalist in the Service Excellence category in the Hampshire Inspire Business Awards.

This follows recognition by independent home improvement installers’ organisation Network VEKA and entry to its ‘100 per cent Club’, for companies polling 100 per cent customer satisfaction.

Topping off a treble of successes this autumn, KJM Group was listed as one of five finalists in the G14 awards which recognises excellence in the glass and glazing industry – the third time the company has made the finals.

Fighting off competition from more than 7,000 installation businesses nationwide, KJM was again shortlisted as a finalist for its commitment to customer service and the way that it managed the installation process from the initial discussion with the customer through to installation and aftercare.

Mark Pearce, Owner and Managing Director, KJM Group, said: “It’s been a very good start to the autumn, we’re absolutely delighted to have had our commitment to customer service recognised by three different bodies, including the Inspire Business Awards, here in Hampshire and nationally by the G14 Awards.

“To be awarded Network VEKA 100 per cent Club status is also important because it’s founded on an independent survey of our customers and is a genuine reflection of their feedback – that means a lot to us.”

Going into its thirty-third year in business and employing 27 people including eight fitting teams, KJM Group has expanded its range to offer a complete home improvement service.

This includes and extensive range of low maintenance and energy efficient windows and doors, including casement, tilt and turn and vertical sliding windows and doors in PVC-U, timber and aluminium. This includes energy saving triple-glazed windows with U-values as low as 0.8W/m².K.

KJM Group also supplies a new generation of highly insulated and high specification conservatories, sun rooms and orangeries are giving homeowners far more flexibility and year-round living space. It also supplies atrium or ‘lantern’ roofs and bi-folding doors.

Mark who joined the business as a window fitter in 1983 concluded: “There are more than 7,000 other installation businesses out there, some very good, some not so good. That’s why it’s important to us to enter and pitch ourselves against national competition. It gives our customers absolute peace of mind that they are dealing with a credible and professionally run local business.”
