Do you have a price list?
Yes we do for some products, although costing most of our products can require a full site survey. We are more than happy to provide you with “budget costs” over the phone, via email or fax. The more information you can provide us with, will help with any quotations prepared, so if you want to bring a photo, or take some sizes we should be able to give you a reliable cost. All we can assure you of is, if you either invite us to your home or ask for a cost over the phone we will give you a “hassle free service”.
What time does your showroom open?
We are open as follows: Monday to Thursday: 9.00am to 5.30pm Friday: 9.00am to 5.00pm Saturday: 10.00am to 4.00pm Sunday: Closed. We’re more than happy to see people out of hours with an appointment while a visit to our showroom to view your possible investment is recommended.
Why should I buy from KJM?
We have been trading since 1983, over three times the length of our warranty period. A lot of promises are made within the industry, and there have been a huge amount of disappointed people who thought their warranty was “cast iron” until they tried to make a claim. Also we are a local company, employ our own staff and sell top quality products without sales pressure. We really do get most of our work through recommendation. We have been finalists in the G-Awards Installer of the Year category four times, we are Which? Trusted Traders and back up our warranties through either the Glass & Glazing Federation or Network Veka.

Does double glazing eliminate condensation?
No it doesn’t. Although it can substantially reduce it in most cases. Read more on condensation.
Why do I have condensation on the outside of my windows?
As the thermal efficiency of our products has increased over the years, this question is being asked much more. The better insulated the window, the more likely the outside pane will be colder and if it drops to below the air temperature, then it reaches “dew point” and condensation forms. Why don't you run 50% off offers?
KJM offers the best price we can first time. Most double glazing is sold on old “hard sell” techniques often used by larger national companies, which leads to a long sales call and high pressure selling. We don’t offer “Buy one, Get one free”, because our products are not double the price in the first place. Getting a quotation from KJM is free and without pressure selling. We are happy to leave your home and follow it up with a written quotation. That is a promise!

I’ve used KJM for a few replacement and new windows/doors over the years. Their service has always been great, particularly any after sales/maintenance required. I’ve recently had a replacement window fitted and I was blown away at the professionalism of the fitters.
Charlie, Ryan and Peter were so polite, considerate and tidy throughout the fitting. The first thing they did was put down floor protection and dust sheets from the entrance to where the window was being fitted, the last thing they did was sweep the area outside where they were working. I dare say the area was tidier after they left than it was beforehand! They truly are a credit to the company and are more than I could hope for from a local business.

Had a great team today fitting new conservatory doors as well as a new front door. Lesley and Liam, a father and son partnership did an amazing job.
Firstly the conservatory doors look amazing, they are new doors fitted to a 28 year old conservatory! The result is outstanding, so a big shout out to KJM, Lexter & Liam.
