U-values as low as 1.2 W/m²K
Exceptional Energy Efficiency
The core advantage of the Liniar profile is its exceptional energy efficiency. Unlike older uPVC windows that relied heavily on heat-conducting steel reinforcement, Liniar’s original 70mm system features a highly engineered multi-chambered profile. By incorporating built-in thermal dams and a patented co-extruded bubble gasket, Liniar frames naturally trap warmth and prevent cold draughts. This advanced internal structure means you can easily achieve Window Energy Ratings (WER) of A+ and U-values as low as 1.2 W/m²K using cost-effective double glazing. For even greater performance, the Liniar EnergyPlus range features six chambers, capable of reaching Passivhaus standards to significantly lower your household heating bills. Furthermore, the entire range is 100% lead-free and fully recyclable, making it an incredibly eco-friendly choice for your home.

FAQ's
What is a multi-chambered window profile and why is it important?
The profile is the uPVC frame that holds the glass. Inside a Liniar frame, the uPVC is divided into a series of symmetrical internal ‘chambers’ rather than being a single hollow hollow tube. These chambers trap pockets of air, breaking up the thermal bridge and preventing the heat inside your home from transferring to the cold air outside, which drastically improves the window’s energy efficiency.
Are Liniar uPVC windows environmentally friendly?
Yes. The Liniar window system was designed from the ground up to be 100% lead-free, ensuring the manufacturing process and the final product are safer for the environment. Furthermore, the uPVC used in Liniar windows is highly recyclable, meaning the frames can be repurposed at the end of their lifespan rather than ending up in a landfill.
Do I need triple glazing to achieve an A+ Energy Rating with Liniar?
No. Because the Liniar frame itself is so thermally efficient (using multi-chambered technology and patented bubble gaskets), the standard 70mm profile can easily achieve A+ Window Energy Ratings and incredibly low U-values using standard, cost-effective double glazing. Triple glazing is available if you require maximum acoustic insulation or Passivhaus-level thermal retention.
What is the Liniar Resurgence flush sash window?
Resurgence is Liniar’s premium 80mm flush sash window system. While standard flush sash windows look like traditional timber, their weather seals are often visible from the outside. Resurgence features a unique ‘double-rebated’ design, which completely hides the exterior weather seals. This creates an incredibly authentic timber aesthetic on the outside while delivering exceptional draught-proofing and modern performance on the inside.
How secure are Liniar windows?
Security is a fundamental part of the Liniar design. The internal webbing of the multi-chambered profile adds immense structural strength without the need for traditional steel reinforcement. When combined with high-security multi-point locking systems and robust hinges, Liniar windows meet the strict criteria for PAS 24 Enhanced Security and hold Secured by Design accreditation, ensuring your home is protected against forced entry.
