Security on our PVCu window systems
KJM's entire range of uPVC windows come with high security features. These in certain circumstances can be enhanced for the "Ultimate security package". Please enquire with our sales team for these additional features, if required.
Mushroom headed rollers lock and shoot bolt
The mushroom headed roller locates in to the lipped metal striker plates. There is a minimum of four rollers per opening.
The mushroom head makes jemmying the opening much harder
Two shoot-bolts locate at either end of each opening

There are two positions for locking, the first position is for a night vent facility. This enables secure ventilation
Hinge protectors Dog-bolts (suitable for ground floor or high risk locations)
The hinge protectors are a metal male/female bolt that protect the opposite side to the main locking mechanism - a standard feature across most of our ranges.
The entire mechanism is protected with key-locking handles
The handles are provided with push to unlock type buttons with additional keys
Keyless button only handles can be provided for fire-egress locations if required
