With KJM Group making a pledge to offer sustainable products and services, this allows for you to also have a positive impact on the planet. Choose KJM Group for your home improvement products, and make the eco-friendly choice.

Many of our home improvement products also help protect the environment by reducing your energy bills. By installing energy efficient products such as composite doors from Solidor and Comp Door, uPVC windows and doors or aluminium doors and windows, you can benefit from high quality weatherproofing, which in turn ensures your home will not suffer in adverse conditions or become damaged, which aids in making your home draughty or damp. uPVC and aluminium are ideal materials for energy and thermal efficiency and are sustainable, so they will not need replacing as often as traditional timber.

Recycled uPVC Waste

The uPVC windows and doors we offer are 100% recyclable, and any uPVC we remove from your home when replacing your windows and doors are also recycled, so no waste is sent to landfills.

All Metals Recycled

Any metal products we install or remove during the installation process are also recycled, so you can be sure that we are doing our part by sending no waste to landfill sites.

Planned Sustainable Measures

We also have been in discussion within the business as to how we can make all glass that we remove recyclable. As an industry-wide issue, the team at KJM Group is aiming to take the first steps to ensure that all of our products are recycled.

Energy Saving Lighting

Our KJM Group office is now being lit by energy-saving LED bulbs, which are reducing our carbon footprint and environmental impact.

Zero to Landfill Aim

We are currently working towards a Zero to Landfill approach for our products and installations, therefore ensuring that all products removed during installations can be reused and recycled.

Sustainability with our Partners

Here at KJM Group, we partner with various manufacturers and suppliers who also share our sustainability values. Smarts are a great example of one of our partners who offer a sustainability promise when you work with them. Not only have they considered their relocation and expansion of more branches being in areas where natural wildlife habitats will not be affected, but they have also considered the effect their branch would have on local communities in the area. They also attain 5 BSI standards, gain their energy from renewable energy sources and aim to be carbon neutral in their production operations.

Our Sustainable Products

It is also important to note that all of the products we offer at this time are sustainably sourced. We aim to ensure that any parts of your renovation that can be recycled will be recycled when you choose KJM Group. We strive to send little to no waste to landfills.

Our products also help us keep our sustainability promise. Once they are installed, they perform to the necessary standards of energy and thermal levels and are not likely to become damaged by adverse weather conditions. This makes them a great option for homeowners looking to stop all draughts and damp in their homes and reduce their energy bills.

If you are looking for new windows and doors or to invest in a new conservatory for your home but are looking to make a smaller impact on the environment around you whilst also benefiting from improved performance, choose KJM Group as your local home improvement installer.
